MinaFREEMANof Earl Shilton. Died peacefully on 22nd November 2023, aged 95 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Donald, and cherished son Ben. Much loved mother to John, doting grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Former Nurse and Midwife at the King's Walk Surgery in Earl Shilton, member of the Flower Club, Women's Institute and long standing member of the Church. Minas funeral service is to be held on Tuesday 19th December at 10:00am at St. Simon and St. Jude Parish Church in Earl Shilton, followed by a private burial. Family flowers only by request but donations if so desired for LOROS may be given at the service or made online via www.heartofenglandcoopfunerals.co.uk Further enquiries to Heart of England Co-op Funerals, Kings Walk, Earl Shilton. Mina shared the midwifery district with my mother Linda Robinson for many years and later became my friend after she stayed with us in America. Many lovely memories of our times together each year when I visited England. She was a straight-forward, active and interesting lady. I've just heard this very sad news i have fond memories of Mina when I joined the midwifery team in 1984 she took me under her wing and was very kind to me
She used to have us all round on Christmas eve for sherry and mincepies and lovely German biscuits there was always a fire in the grate and a huge real Christmas tree in the conservatory
I will treasure the memories forever

I clearly remember Nurse Freeman who worked with my mother at Kings Walk. A lovely lady and a wonderful nurse.
