EdwardFREEMAN(Gateshead) (Former caretaker of Kells Lane Primary School) Ed passed peacefully at home, with his 3 girls by his side on 7th April 2025, aged 76 years. Devoted Husband of Imelda, much loved Dad of Tracy and Sarah, Father-in-law of Kris, and forever loved Grandad of Max. Ed was also a dear Brother, Uncle and Friend, who will be deeply missed. At Ed's request, a private funeral service will take place. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life, which will take place at Heworth Golf Club, from 1pm on Friday 25th April. Donations in Ed's memory will be received at the Golf Club, in lieu of flowers.
