KathleenFRIGOKathleen Mary Bamford Frigo died in Quincy, CA, USA on May 26, 2022 at the age of 87. The daughter of James Bamford and Evelyn Reid of Cleckheaton, Kathy set off for Canada after receiving her teaching credentials in Yorkshire. Married to Ennio Luigi Frigo in 1959, the young couple moved to California and started a life in America with their three young children. They spent many years living between the US and Italy but Kathy remained an English lass in her heart. Always a strong and adventurous spirit, she lived an independent life until the end, adored by her beloved children and grandchildren and all of her friends, students and strangers she touched along the way.

We were lucky enough to call Nona part of our extended family. We all adored her and felt her love for us right back. What a powerful impact she had on the world. Now who is going to drink wine with me on Sarah and Julian’s back porch? Love and hugs to all the Frigos. Xox

You were missed the second you passed on to heaven! Always enjoyed celebrating Christmas with you & bringing in the New Year as well as summers at the Lake!
