A great and amusing correspondent, in touch with current world affairs, including the fortunes of the Bristol Rovers Football team and he had real insight, knowledge and love of all things Nepalese. Nick was a man of simple living, high thinking. Hugely loved. A great loss. Buddhist prayers at Swayambhunath temple, Kathmandu with ashes there and at his Lodge, Snowland, in the Annapurna region, in late October. Remembered by countless artists, bird watchers and friends who knew him or travelled with him over the last 25+ years. Especially Alan. Quentin. Clare.
