DenisFRYERDenis Fryer of Porthill, Newcastle-under-lyme, originally from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and formerly of Milton, Baddeley Green, Ash Bank and Birches Head, passed away peacefully following a developing illness on Saturday 22nd December, aged just 84 years, at Royal Stoke University Hospital. Being predeceased by his loving wife, Brenda, Denis was a unique and hard-working man who enjoyed life and laboured tirelessly for his family. Admired for his enduring ability to provide whilst they were growing up, he is hugely missed by his four proud sons, David, Graham, Jeremy and Mark; his caring daughters-in-law; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, alike. Who's going to get the first round in on Tuesdays now, eh? Funeral service to be held at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday 18th January at 2.15pm. Family flowers only, please. Donations in Denis' name would be a wonderful gesture to either Douglas Macmillan Hospice or The Donna Louise Trust. "Cheers, lads!", as Dad would say. Donations & Enquiries to: H. Dale Funeral Services, 176 Anchor Road, Sandford Hill Longton, Stoke On Trent, ST3 5EF. Tel. 01782 313866.
