David WilliamFRYEROn Monday, 5th September, 2022, peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his family. David, aged 85 years, of Truro. A loving husband of Ros for 60 years. Proud father to Rowena and Marcia. Adored grandfather to Ellen, Amy, Lucy and Emma. The funeral service will take place on Friday, 30th September, at 2.30pm, at Truro Cathedral, followed by a private committal at Penmount Crematorium. Family flowers only. After retiring from his role as Secretary for Education in Cornwall, David worked tirelessly with many local organisations and charities. Until very recently he was Chairman of the Cornwall Music Service Trust and he had been working hard with the team to develop the Music Therapy Branch of the service.
