Always a smile and a great sense of humour and an excellent host. Always a good listener and a lovely neighbour and friend to have. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time and the kettle is always on for you. Much love.

Gave me my second job at the tender age of seventeen. Fond memories of Michael both as a great boss but more importantly as a wonderful human being.

My dear Uncle Michael, I will always remember when I was little, our families meeting up. I always felt like one big family, I loved those times:
A lifetime ago, I thought our lives would carry on the same forever. How I wish I'd known how short a lifetime really is.
You were a wonderful Uncle, I will always be so very proud I was your niece. Now it's your time to truly relax in peace!!
My dearest Auntie Margaret, Jaqui and Victoria, my thoughts are with you all always, even more while you travel through this painful time.
Love you all, for a lifetime. ❤️

In the short time we knew Michael we found him very kind and we were looking forward to having him and Margaret as our neighbours. He will be missed by many and Margaret and the family are in our thoughts

It was a privilege knowing Michael, not just as a customer but I would like to think as a friend as well. Sadly I'm away for the funeral but I'm sure he will have a very well supported day by many both business and friends alike. Rest in peace Michael and all the best to the family in particular your dear wife Margaret.
