I lost my life’s companion, a life linked with my own,
Day by day I miss you more as I walk through life alone.
Although I cannot see you, you are with me night and day,
For all the love I had for you, death cannot take away.
We don't ask for miracles,
But today just one will do;
To leave the door wide open,
And see you walk right through.
We would wrap our arms around you,
And kiss your smiling face,
For you were very special,
Who no one can replace.
Our first Christmas without you, I thought I was going to cry all day today, but all my memories of you at christmas are the best, you always loved this time of year and made it so special for every one.. I love you with all my heart Ash and always will... Forever. Nousk.

It doesn’t take a special day to call you to our mind,
A day without a thought of you is very hard to find.
You gave us all you had to give, gifts both great and small,
But most of all you gave us love, the greatest gift of all.
A last goodbye we did not say,
In our hearts you will always stay.
Two tired eyes are sleeping, two willing hands are still,
The one who worked so hard for us is resting at God’s will.
We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain,
To walk with us along life’s way until we meet again.
A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried,
Neither will a million tears, I know because I’ve cried.
They say memories are to treasure, to some that may be true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
No matter how life changes,
no matter what I do,
A special place inside my heart,
Is set aside for you.........
