GAIL RUSSELLIn tribute to 26-year-old mother Gail Russell who was fatally stabbed on 12 June, 2010.
The attack happened in the burgh of Blantyre, Lanarkshire, where Gail had been building a new life with her four children.
Her boyfriend Andrew Carruthers said: "Gail was a great mum and a brilliant girlfriend. The two of us had made so many plans and were so happy together. We did everything together."
Andrew had dated Gail for 10 months and they planned to get engaged on her birthday - September 17 - then tie the knot a year later.
Friends said she was a “great mum” who “just lived for her kids”.
Kevin Kelly, a cousin of her boyfriend Andrew, said: "Gail was a good friend and a brilliant mum. She loved her kids to bits. She was out of this world."
She was survived by her daughters Toni, Christina and Rainne, and son Charlie.
