Elsie EmilyGAILEY(née Foster) Dearly beloved Mum of Anne and Mother-in-Law of Charles. Sister to Betty. Dearly loved Nanna of Jonathan, Lucy, Thomas and Great Nanna of Millie and Xander. Auntie to Nephews Garry and Peter.

Passed away peacefully after a short illness in University Hospital, Coventry on Sunday 5th April 2026.

She will be sadly missed but remembered for her amazing independence just short of her 97th Birthday!

Funeral service to be held on Monday 27th April 2026 in Cannon Hill Chapel Canley Crematorium at 11:15am. No flowers by request, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK may be made on the day or via Funeral Notices at www.ajlloyd.co.uk A J Lloyd Funeral Directors

Elsie was in the bed opposite my mum in UHCW, I was so sad to visit my mum and hear Elsie had passed away.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time, what a fabulous life lived, may she rest in peace with the angels.
Glad she got to enjoy some Jelly 😘
