PeterGALVINGALVIN - PETER, 16th August 2021. Peacefully passed away at the age of 87. A much loved husband to Maureen, dad to Steven and Ross, grandad to Sarah, Matthew, Rigsy, Katherine and Isabelle, brother to Frank, John and Leslie, father-in-law to Jane and Lesley. Besides his family he will be sorely missed by many from ex colleagues and old schoolboys, to snooker players and bowlers. Service and cremation at Springwood Crematorium (Rosemary Chapel) on Monday 13th September at 1pm. A piece of red clothing to be worn by request please, if possible. Pete was great company always ready for laugh and a joke. A man who led by example. He encouraged me to continue further education, introduced me to the works of Damon Runyan and the delights of New Orleans Jazz.
A great and true friend for more than 70yrs.
