The obituary notice of Christine GAMBLE

This arrived in my in box today. Every Christmas season I think of Christine and the beautifully written emails i received every holiday. Christine was a special person and my life was graced by this brief encounter.

I believe this is the Christine I met many years ago in St Lucia with her husband Ken. My son, Kenneth and I were befriended by this lovely couple. Christine and I corresponded every year since. I knew she was being treated for cancer; when I had no response - found this. Christine’s letters were a joy to read. She was thoughtful, insightful. I looked forward to our correspondence each Christmas. She was proud of and grateful for her family and shared stories of baking with her granddaughters and outings with dear friends. Such a warm, genuine person is always missed.
