JeanGARDINERJean Gardiner, of Oswaldtwistle, died on Monday, December 13, in hospital, aged 82. In her younger years Jean worked in the cotton mills, until she worked as a cook at WRVS up to her retirement. In her spare time Jean loved sewing, cooking and going to her caravan at Windy Harbour. The dearly loved wife of the late Keith, a much loved mum of Keith, Lynn Jane, the late Tony and Margaret, a sadly missed mother-in-law, sister, nan, great-grandma and great, great-grandma. A funeral service will be led by Rev Martin Joss in St Paul’s Church, Catlow Hall Street, Oswaldtwistle at 12noon on Thursday, December 30, prior to a 1pm interment in Dill Hall Cemetery, Accrington.
