ScottGARDNERScott passed away on Thursday, November 12, at Blackburn Royal hospital, aged 64, after a short illness. Scott worked for Hyndburn Borough Council as an lT manager for 39 years. After his retirement, Scott enjoyed socialising in local pubs in Accrington and would often be found sat working on his computer while enjoying a pint. Scott was a loyal Manchester United fan, and also an avid treasure hunter and was proprietor of the Armchair Treasure Hunt Club, which took himself and wife Sharon travelling all over the country. Scott was the devoted husband of Sharon, dearly loved father of Mandy, Lee, Terri, Carly and Jamie, and grandfather to Hayden, Alesha, Frankie, Alice, Freddie, and Josephine, and loving brother to Valarie and Toni. Scott was a dear father-in-law to Hayley, Glenn and AIex, and brother-in-law to Martin, Julie and Rosie, Scott was a friend to many and will be missed by all. The funeral was due to be held on Wednesday, November 25, 11am at Accrington Crematorium, led by Neil Overton. Donations if desired to Cancer Research UK c/o funeral director. Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
