Lorna MavisGARDNERPassed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short illness. Devoted to her family, she was wife to her beloved and much missed Malcolm for nearly 40 years, a wonderful Mum to "the brood" - Pete, Vic, Neil, Richard and Su - a loving and loved Grandma and Great-Grandma, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, great-aunt as well as a great friend to so many in her community. A funeral service will be held at Co-op Funeral Care, Dartmouth Road, Paignton, at 09:45 on Friday, 10th June, to be followed by a private cremation. No flowers please, but donations in lieu would be welcomed for Cancer Research UK or the British Heart Foundation. Lorna has requested people wear bright colours, no black. Lorna has requested no wake, but the family would be pleased to meet with her friends and loved ones at The Parker's Arms, Collaton St Mary, between 2.30 and 4.30 in the afternoon of the 10th to share our memories over some refreshments.
