RitaGARDNERBorn in Wallsend 1931. Beloved wife of George for 66 years and fantastic mother of Norma and Geoffrey in High Heaton. Very proud grandma to Matthew, Michael, Thomas and Jacob as well as great-grandma to Noah. Before her marriage Rita enjoyed working at Mawson & Proctor chemists. Widely loved and with many lifelong friends Rita will be dearly missed. She died peacefully on 5 March. The funeral will take place at Tynemouth Crematorium on 31st March at 3pm. Collection in lieu of flowers to the Stroke Society.
