KarenGARDNERFell to sleep peacefully at Barton Cottage Hospital on 27th July 2023, aged 64 years. Dearly loved wife of Steve, devoted mother of John and James, grandmother to Dominic, Grace and Sonnie, cherished daughter of the late John and Dinah Ferneyhough and sister to Susan, Robert and Edwin. Funeral Tuesday 22nd August, service 12:00 noon at St James Church, Barton under Needwood. Family flowers only please, donations in memory payable to 'Cancer Research UK' may be sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors, 29 Station Road, Barton under Needwood, DE13 8DR. Tel: 01283 713714.

To Steve and family. We are so sorry for your loss. We gave such fond memories of Karen and we wish you all the best at the difficult time. She was and still is a fantastic mum, wife and gran to such a great bunch of people. What a wonderful life she had and what amazing memories you must have. Take care. Luke and family.
