1949-2023

Passed peacefully in the care of Highland Hospice Inverness, on Wednesday, 8th November, aged 74 years after losing his battle with cancer.

Survived by daughter Fiona, partner Mary and siblings Pearl, Catherine, Helen, Sadie, Bobby and Adam. Predeceased by Brothers Brian and John and his beloved dog Blue.

George had a full and interesting life of travel and hobbies including, mountaineering, gardening, curling, Tai Chi and supporting Ross County. He was a founding member of the East Kilbride Mountaineering Club and Dingwall Men's Shed. Born in Glasgow he spent time in Ardrossan and Lockerbie before moving to Dingwall to work as Food Hygiene Inspector in 1992.

A celebration of life will be held at the Ross County Stadium, on Monday 20th November at 12 noon, all welcome, followed by a private burial at Strowan Woodland, Crieff as per his wishes.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Highland Hospice and The John Muir Trust.
