MaryGAWRYLCZYKMary Gawrylczyk, of Rishton, passed away on February 28 at home, aged 89 years. She was a early loved wife to Joseph, loving mum to Andrew, cherished grandma to Anastasia and Blake also a dear friend to Joan and Christine. Mary worked as a weaver all of her working life until she retired from work due to ill health. Mary was a well respected member of the working team and made many friends along the way. Mary loved to go shopping and thoroughly enjoyed her regular visits to the hairdressers having a good catch up with Christine (Clare). Keeping active Mary, Joan and their friends would set off rambling this was something Mary looked forward to. She loved going on holidays abroad with her beloved husband Joseph especially to Benidorm where many happy memories were made. In the early 90s Mary became heavily involved with The Samaritans and helped in so many area’s over the 10 years she was with them. Mary will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Mary’s funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium Chapel on Monday, March 27 at 1pm followed by interment in the cemetery.
