RoyGELDERIt is with greatest sadness and heavy hearts that we have to announce the sudden passing of Mr Roy Gelder, who sadly passed away on the 24th of February 2023. A true gentleman. A loving and devoted Husband to Jean. A dearest and loving Father to Carl and Sonia. A much loved Grandad and Great Grandad. He will always be in our hearts and we know he will walk beside us throughout our lives to guard us for eternity. Funeral service to take place on Friday 24th March 2.00 Chanterlands Crematorium (small chapel). Family flowers only but donations if desired to Cancer research UK, collection plate at service. Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

My darling dad. It's been nearly 5 weeks since you've been gone, you are in my thoughts everyday but everyday I feel my heart crumbling bit by bit without you, my life must go on but how does one do that, I talk to you everyday and ask you to visit me just for one more smile one more kiss and one more cuddle just one more time
I have my happy memories but I want more than these I need you back but alas this is not to be so I am just left with thoughts tears and heartache I love you my dearest father I love you
