Going to miss seeing you out and about on your scooter, Phil, wearing shorts, no matter how bad the weather. I loved meeting you in the street and chatting with you about football, your holidays to Thailand, your visits the bookies and your trips to your local pub, the Wheatshief .
You were always very positive and upbeat, inspite of your own health battles. You were never without a smile on your face and were a true inspiration to me and no doubt many more people.
You've left a huge void in Felling and Gateshead .
Rest easy my friend, you've finished your race.
