Michael PatrickGERARD21st October 2023 peacefully at home aged 72 years.

Loving and devoted husband to Elsie, devoted dad to Scott and Steven, re-united with son Michael. A very special grandad to Isabella, Brooke, Michael and Claudia.

(Mick you have left me brokenhearted)

They say there is a reason, They say time will heal, Neither time or reason will change the way I feel. Gone are the days we used to share, But in my heart you are always there. The gates of memories will never close, I miss you more than anybody knows

Your broken Elsie xxxx

For my lovely Dad and Grandad. Like every birthday, Christmas and father's day card, I will say thank you for everything. Thank you for showing me how to be a gentleman and look after a family. Thank you for my love of music and for sharing concerts together. Thank you also for your very thorough 'gardening' that destroyed our fruit trees ! The kids and I will cherish our memories, the trips to the seaside. Thursday night meals out, the look on your face when your first grandchild was born and photo bombing every photo on Isabella's Graduation! We will look after nanny for you. You will be talked about and remembered fondly forever,

All our love forever Scott, Isabella and Claudia

You left us dad with pride, courage and dignity and you lived your life with the same class. A true old schooler. You did it right. I idolised you Dad. You gave us love and wisdom. I can still feel you with me dad, guiding me, telling me what to do. Mine and Stacy's gift to you was Brooke and Michael. They have had their hearts ripped out but I will put it all back dad, I promise. I promised you a lot dad and I will keep every single one. Mum will be okay dad, all the grandkids will have a great life. Life won't be the same dad. Football won't be the same without you but we got to conquer all of Europe together - Thanks for being my dad, my best friend and the best grandad in the world - you still are.

''May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true and may you stay forever young dad.''

Rest in Peace now Dad

Steven, Stacy, Brooke and Michael xxx
