JoanGETHINSuddenly on 19 August at home Tynrhos Fach, Llandre, Ceredigion, aged 82 years. Joan was born and brought up in Middleton, the daughter of Frank and Edith Macdonald and sister of John and attended Bury Grammar School. After graduating from Lancashire College of Agriculture, she moved to mid-Wales in the mid-1960s. Beloved and devoted wife of Tudor, much-loved and ever-supportive mother of Richard, Anita, Jacqueline and Carolyn, and fond and respected mother-in-law of Dawn, Donald, Paul and Stuart. Cherished Grannie of Rebecca, Hannah, Tom, Stewart, Phillip, Harri, Adam and Georgia, and delighted Great-Grannie of Siwan, Lewis, Gwennan and Sophia. Public funeral service to be held at All Saints' Church, Llangorwen on Tuesday 10th September at 2pm, followed by Committal at Amlosgfa Aberystwyth Crematorium at 3pm. All welcome to attend either or both. Please dress as you feel appropriate to celebrate a full life well lived, lighter or brighter colours encouraged.
