GilbertGIBBONSSuddenly at home on Sunday 24th August 2025. Gilly aged 79 years of Eaton Park.

Devoted Husband of Iris, loving dad of Donna & Ian, father-in-law of Mandi, much loved grandad of Sam, Jessica, Tom, Tyler, Ethan, Mai & their partners, treasured great-grandad of Poppy, Parker, Esme, Noo-Noo & Archie and dear brother of Russell. Gilbert will always be loved and sadly missed by all of his family.

Funeral service to take place at Carmountside Chapel on Friday 19th September 2025 at 10.15am followed by interment at Carmountside Lawn Cemetery. Would friends wishing to attend please meet at the Chapel.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired would be gratefully accepted for Douglas Macmillan Hospice c/o the funeral directors.

I have know Gilly for over 55 years both from Bentilee , Willfield School and on Eaton Park

Gilly was a great guy and would help anyone no matter how much he had to go out of his way. to do so.

He will be missed by his old work colleagues and hid family.

Rest in peace Gilly.
