EileenGIBBS(Wallsend ) Peacefully on 27th March aged 75 years. Devoted wife of the late David, mam of Louise and Helen, Grandma of Danny, step-grandma of Hannah and James, sister of David, Peter and the late Robert, sister-in-law of Brenda, Bill, Irene and the late Vera and Kathleen, mother-in-law of Jim and Jill and a much loved Auntie. Due to the current circumstances a private funeral will be held.

So sorry to hear that Eileen is gone. She will always be my "high school sweetheart" even though we only dated a couple of times a few years later. I saw her, David and Robert in Calgary, after they came to Canada, in 1966.
I last saw Eileen in 2018 and we went to the Rosehill Tavern, nearby. She was not doing too well and David was dying from asbestos. I had hoped to see Eileen one last time this September while in the UK but now I am disappointed and sad.
