JeanGIBSON(née Shanks) (Formerly of Walker) Passed away peacefully after a long illness on 30th June 2026, at Seaview Nursing Homes, Whitley Bay aged 80 years.
Devoted wife to Victor, dearly loved mother to Glenn and Julie and mother in law to Gill and Rik. Treasured grandmother to Joe, Sarah and Charlie. Also, a dear sister to Charlie, Sonny, Bob, Ted and Tony. A lovely auntie and a good friend to many, best friend to Maureen Forest.
Jean was a very special lady, she was loved so much and will be missed by all that knew her.
Would family and friends please meet for service at The West Chapel, West Road Crematorium, NE5 2JL, on Friday 17th July at 13:15. Afterwards at Benwell Cricket Club, NE15 7EU.
