David GeorgeGILBERTPassed away peacefully at Torbay Hospital on 28th August 2023, aged 87 years.

David will be deeply missed by all his family, especially his godson Adam and his many friends.

A celebration of his life will take place at Central Church, Torquay on Friday 29th September at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.

Family flowers only by request, donations if desired for the Friends of Malawi Association Charitable Trust which may be given by retiring collection, on-line at kjlackfuneralservice.co.uk or sent to

Darling David, I will always remember the many, good fun, mostly hilarious. times we had mostly at Weeke Barton with friends. It was an experience having my hair done in your salon, always laughter could be heard.in the background.. I can still hear your strange laugh, Keep laughing where ever you are. Dear David, although we only met a handful of times in person you left a huge impression on us. You were the loveliest of people and I’m proud to say you were my cousin. I’m so grateful that Esteban and I were able to see you in 2018 and that we enjoyed a wonderful meal with you. I thank you for being a great support to my mother, your cousin. She has told us stories of your wonderful childhood days. You will always be in our hearts and with such fond memories.
