JohnGILSENANJohn passed away peacefully in his sleep at his daughter Tracey’s house. Tracey, followed by close family members were by his side on January 21. He was a beloved son of the late Pat and Phil, dad to Tracey, grandad to Tiffany, Tanya, Jodie, Callum and Lily Mae, great-grandad to Myia, Matilda and Toby James. He was also a loving brother to Ann, Barbara, Brian, Jackie and Mo. He was also a very popular friend to many and known especially for being a fantastic DJ, spending his weekends doing discos and karaoke. He started his working life doing an apprenticeship then he went to work at G&A Plastics were he worked for many years as a laminator. John's funeral will take place on Friday, February 10 at Accrington Crematorium at 1.40pm, following onto the Brooke’s Club to celebrate his life. Family flowers only, any donations welcomed to Diabetes UK. Donations are being received c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.
