John AlexanderGLOVEROn 23 February 2024, in the Alexandra Unit, after two years of stoically borne illness, John Alexander Glover aged 73 years.

Beloved husband of Marion and much loved father of Joanne, Kirsty and Lindsay and dearest father-in-law, Papa, mentor and friend to so many.

Memorial Service will be held in St George's Church, Dumfries on Tuesday 19 March at 2pm. All friends respectfully invited to attend. This will be preceded by private cremation.

John Glover was an individual of unswerving integrity….an able, talented, effective and knowledgeable hospital administrator. Well regarded and respected by colleagues at all levels.
Tact, discretion and kindness were embedded in his personality.

I remember "Mr Glover" from my days at D&GRI... Great fun always at Christmas Concerts performed by the staff for the staff... Convened by this affable man...
