Chris JamesGOGGINSMR Chris James Goggins, also known as 'Goggs', of Burnley Road East, Waterfoot, died at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Friday, March 13, aged 39. He started work at Tenons at Bacup and Rochdale as a trainer auditor, then went to Savills in Manchester as a property accountant. before being promoted to associate team leader. He then went to Roseland Property as a finance manager and was promoted to finance director. He was a keen sportsman, loved the outdoors and enjoyed walking in the Lake District as well as ice climbing, canoeing and adventure sports. Son of John and Sheila, he was brother of Tim, Tracey, Tina and John, and partner to Shelly, and also leaves dog Toby Jug, extended family and many friends. A funeral service took place on Tuesday, March 24, conducted by the minister Kathy Unsworth, at Burnley Crematorium. Donations are requested to Cancer Research UK and ELHT - the donations will be split between the oncology ward and the chemotherapy ward.
