I’ve just found this page as I was searching about Shotley Bridge hospital. I have never forgotten the name of the Doctor who performed my heart operation there in 1972, I was 17 years old and very scared. He was a lovely man and as I said I’ve never forgotten him. I will celebrate my 70th birthday next month. My sincere condolences to his family..Linda Reed née Chrisp..💖
