TonyGOODACRE(Known as Britain's Mr Country Music) Peacefully in hospital on June 15th, Tony aged 84 years of Redcar, formerly Leeds. Beloved husband of Sylvia and a much loved dad, grandpa and great grandpa. Funeral service in St Mark's Church, Marske on Thursday July 7th at 12 noon prior to interment in Guisborough Cemetery. Will friends please meet at Church. Family flowers only please, there will be a collection plate at Church for donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, for The Haematology Clinic and Ward 33, Haematology at James Cook University Hospital.

Dear Tony, I’m so sorry, I didn’t know about your passing until now. So sorry not to have attended your funeral to say goodbye appropriately. So many relatives up there will be so pleased to welcome you. I will never forget your voice, especially hearing you sing at my Grandpa Tom’s funeral, as I remember telling you. Hearing the recording of what you sang at Mum and Dads wedding was very special too. Thank you for Auntie Phylls memoirs, I will treasure this and make sure it’s passed on to future generations. Uncle Charles and Auntie Phyll were very special people and utterly charming. Goodbye Tony, thank you for everything, Alex and family
