When I joined The Third Age Trust as Company Secretary, Graham was the Honorary Secretary on the board of Trustees. He was such a tower of strength in my early days and a very good working relationship very quickly became a valued friendship. In fact, we formed our own mutual admiration society! He was always so positive and cheerful and these qualities, alongside a great sense of humour and the fact that he was so well-liked, got us through some tricky AGMs. When Graham left the board in 2002, we might not have seen a lot of each other but for the fact that, when he departed, Jean joined and whenever she came to meetings, Graham travelled with her, so if anything, I saw him more. I feel very privileged to have had Graham in my life.
