Melville JamesGOODMANOn Thursday, 13th January, 2022, passed away suddenly at home. Melville, aged 89 years, of Threemilestone. Loving husband of Margaret (deceased). Cherished dad to Andrew and Lesley. Devoted Papa to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Austin and Bernard (both deceased). The funeral service will take place on Friday, 4th February, at 3pm, in the Trelawny Chapel, Penmount Crematorium. No flowers by request. There is a word which says so much, that had a sad, but special touch.
It speaks of warmth and laughter too and days that had a brighter view. It's just a word that's rather small with just three letters. All in all it's meant the world right from the start and yet, to hear it breaks my heart. For every time this word is said, a picture comes into my head of someone with a smiling face that no one ever could replace. And on a day just like today I miss you more than words can say. Oh, when will I stop feeling sad each time a memory whispers " DAD"? 💔
