MarkGORDONPassed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday 19th February 2024 in the Queen's Medical Centre, aged 64 years.

He was born in County Down, Ireland and later lived most of his life in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Mark was an exceptional and celebrated artist, musician and mentor, as well as a much loved member of Banks Mill Studios and his local community. He leaves behind his mother and father Ann and Clive Gordon, his sister Tiffany and her two children Imogen and Caradoc, his niece and nephew who he loved dearly.

As per Mark's wishes a small private funeral will be held.

Mark's family asks that instead of flowers, people consider making a donation to Shelter in his memory - a charity that works to defend the right to a safe home for everyone. Mark would have given his last 20p to a homeless person, and would appreciate this gesture in his name. Thank you. Donations can be made online or sent care of A.W. Lymn
