Husband of Dawn, former husband of Vanessa. Much loved father of Francesca and Grumpy Grandpa to Charlie and Mia.

A celebration of George's life will take place at Roucan Loch Crematorium, Dumfries on Monday 14th October at 12.15pm to which all friends are respectfully invited.

Dress bright or country please. No flowers please, but donations may be made in George's memory to Diabetes UK (www.diabetes.org.uk)

George found our house for us when we first came to Dumfries in 1988 – and then looked after the land for us. And then we had a common interest in shooting and I loved going up to Craigmuie which was a wild and wonderful place and with very few Pheasants– George called his shooting days an “armed lunch party!” He was always a larger than life character with a wonderful laugh.
