Lionel GeorgeGRANTLionel George Grant FCIS, who has died from complications associated with Alzheimer's disease aged 87, was a loving Husband and Father, and a long-time resident of Tunbridge Wells. Having travelled the world as a financial advisor (and, later, the Company Secretary) for the London-based Commonwealth Development Finance Company, he settled in Tunbridge Wells with his young family in 1979, joining the ranks of commuters for many years before founding his own practice in the town and Jarvis Investment Management (Mount Ephraim), with his eldest son. Lionel and his wife Lauri were always out and about together and were known for their love of gardening. Lionel is survived by his wife, four children (Andrew, Clare, Malcolm and Matthew), and two grandchildren (Sophie and Thomas). Lionel's funeral will be held at the Kent and Sussex Cemetery Chapel at 11.30 on Wednesday 18th March
