Its clear that George was an exceptional Scot. A great husband, father, grandfather, and all around great individual. George is my 3rd cousin, we started getting together in the 2000’s on the internet, and phone. We never met face to face until this June of 2024. We had planned for years to visit Troon but covid and life got in the way. We finally met face to face shortly before he passed. Moira, Moray, and George entertained us at home and we had a very nice visit. The Grants are a wonderful family, we will keep in touch and wish the family all the best.

George was just one of those people you meet & take to instantly.

He was part of a group of us guys dealing with prostate cancer, he never once complained about his situation
& was such a huge inspiration to all of us & we are so sorry for his family.

We have lost a great friend.

R.I.P George 😪
