John GilsonGRAVESSadly on September 4th after a long and challenging illness, John, aged 76, died at his home with his wife by his side. He was the loving husband of Angela, proud and devoted father of Catherine, respected friend of Catherine's partner Tom. He was a dear brother, brother-in-law, nephew and cousin.
John worked for 45 years at Bitmac/Koppers on Dawes Lane in Scunthorpe.
A funeral service will be held at Woodland Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday Sept 30th at 11:20, followed by a family burial at Burton-upon-Stather burial ground.
Family flowers only please, but if so desired donations in lieu for the Jerry Green Dog Rescue can be left following the service.
