Caroline AnnGREENneé Chard Known as Lynn, aged 72 from Carnon Downs, Truro, sadly passed away at Falmouth hospital on 22nd February 2020 after complications brought on by Multiple Sclerosis. Lynn was born in Twickenham on the 15th July 1947 to Ken and Rene Chard and had a very happy childhood. She moved to Cornwall in 1978 and started teaching at St Day School, where she went on to teach for over 20 years. She met her husband Alan in 1986 and they married the following year. Sadly Lynn had to retire in 1998 due to ill health. Before the M.S. took hold she enjoyed her caravanning holidays and walking on Dartmoor. Lynn was also a member of the Richard III Society and an avid supporter of Friends of the Earth. She is survived by her husband Alan, daughter Stefanie, son Robert, grandchildren Theodore and Charlotte and step children Christine and Clive. Lynn will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Alan and his family would like to express a big thank you for the love and care provided by all the carers and staff, who work for Live Life Care, who have helped look after Lynn over the last two years of her life, as well as the nursing staff at Treliske and Falmouth hospitals. The family wishes any donations to go to the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary or The Flicka Foundation at Mabe.
