Doreen BettyGREENIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Betty Green (née Wade), who passed away peacefully at home on 1 September 2026, aged a remarkable 101 years.
Doreen lived a long and fulfilling life, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was the devoted wife of the late Maurice Green, a loving mother to the late Malcolm, Alan, Janet and the late Wendy, a cherished grandmother to Brendan, Daniel, Lisa, Kerry, Joanne and Darren, a great granma, a great great granma and a dear friend to many.
Doreen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, kindness and gentle nature will be remembered with great affection.
Doreen's Funeral Service will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on Thursday 1 October 2026, beginning at 11am.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and join in celebrating her long and well-lived life.
