Barbara AnnGREENALLWe are very saddened to announce the death of Mrs Barbara Ann Greenall. The retired housewife passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home In Bridgefield Close, Rishton on Thursday 17th May, aged 68 years. Barbara was the only daughter of the late Richard and Ann Dobson of Great Harwood. The beloved sister of Eric and sister-in-law of Carol, Susan, Kevin, Brian and John. Barbara was the true love of Raymond, cherished Mum of Vicky, Dawn and Anthony as well as the precious Mother-in-law of George, Jason and Marie. She was the most treasured Grandma of Matthew, Amber-Jane Zara, Jaydene, Jessica, Declan, Thomas and Arlo and a close friend to Ann, Tricia and many more. After raising her three children and following the death of her husband Raymond; In her later years Barbara developed a passion for travelling. She enjoyed holidays all over Europe, with the Greek Islands and Rome being her favourite destinations with friends and family. Barbara always made time for her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a unique relationship with each one and was looking forward to the New arrival of number nine, due in September this year. Barbara was a regular visitor to Accrington Women's Centre and enjoyed pilates with friends she made there. Her other hobbies Included gardening, shopping and watching tennis, especially Nadal. Barbara's funeral will take place on Friday 8th June 2018 at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium.
