Died peacefully at Sherburn House, County Durham, on Thursday 2nd June 2022, aged 97 years. Funeral service at 11:30am on Friday 8th July at St Leonards Church, Wollaton, followed by cremation at Bramcote Crematorium at 12:30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Read On Nottingham and The National Literacy Trust may be sent care of A. W.
