JohnGRESSWELLPassed away peacefully at New Lodge Nursing Home, Mickleover on Monday 12th June 2023, aged 77 years. Much loved Husband to Annie. Dad to Gordon, Mick and John. Father-in-Law, Grandad, Great-Grandad. John was a former charge Nurse at Pastures Hospital. A keen gardener and a lover of nature. He will be sadly missed by us all. A service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Thursday 6th July 2023 at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in loving memory of John. These will be forwarded onto Air Ambulance and New Lodge Residents Fund. A donations box will be provided on the day. Further enquiries to Central Co-op Funeralcare, Mickleover. My dearest John I’ve been so lucky to have you by my side for 57 1/2 years, we had our moments but mostly good.
We’re blessed with our 3 boys Gordon, Mick & John Craig, lovely daughter in laws Marie and Sue, grandchildren who we both adore, Hannah & Dr Josh, Jake, Hollie & Connor, Dan, Nathan & Helen, Ellie & Clark, Josh & Jess and little Millie! ❤️ We’ve made best friends with fab people Dawn, Linda, Cliff, Neil & Kay and our very great friends Lynne and Richard.
We love you all! ❤️
And all our friends at Pastures Hospital and Pastures Golf Club.
Finally our thanks for to all the staff on 306 & 404, special thanks to the care and kindness at New Lodge you were wonderful! ❤️
