PhilipGRIFFIN(Phil) of Mickleover. Passed away peacefully after a short illness bravely borne, on July 29th 2021 at the Nightingale Macmillan Unit, Royal Derby Hospital aged 75 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband to Annette for 50 years. Much loved and proud dad of Martin, Andrew and Claire. A cherished father-in-law of Lisa, Sarah and Mike, and a very treasured grandad and much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Phil was the ex captain of the seniors at Ashbourne Golf Club, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. "You're in no more pain darling RIP". A funeral service for Phil will take place at Bretby Crematorium 'Carnarvon Chapel' at 10.30am on Tuesday 17th August 2021. The family requests that you please wear a colour, black needn't be worn. Family flowers only please, however should you wish to make a donation in lieu of the Nightingale Macmillan Unit, Derby or the Air Ambulance Derby, please make it direct or via Cheque, or if you prefer it may be given after the service.
