So sad to hear of the passing of dear Mo, with whom I shared a flat in Sutton after coming home from Tripoli. She was bright, sporty, lively and a wonderful friend. Skied with her in the Pyrenees where she was working for Elf …always welcoming and loving company. RIP lovely lady.

I am very sorry to hear about Maureen. We were very close friends for 2 years in Tripoli, Libya now more than 50 years ago. I have good memories of our time together.

So terribly sorry to hear that Maureen had passed. We were great friends over 50 years ago in Libya. We had some very good times and some scary times together. I will never forget. We have kept in touch over the years. My deep sympathies to her friends and family, Marion Mahoney, Canada

Deepest sympathy. Maureen was a friend of many years. Brave, funny, a great traveller, the life and soul of the party. She never gave up whatever the obstacles.
