DouglasGRIFFITHSPeacefully at home with his family, on Tuesday 16th January, Doug, loving husband of Margaret. Much loved father of David, Gareth and Jonathan, and a dear father in law, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a much respected former headteacher at Peter Lea and Marlborough Junior Schools. Funeral at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium, on Monday, 5th February at 3.30pm.

Doug will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all his family and friends.

Family flowers only. If desired, the family would welcome donations to Cancer Research as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers. My next door neighbour as I grew up as a child. Always made me feel at ease, a great gift. Loved chatting to him about sport, inspirational. Very helpful to my dear Mum in her later years, top man all round.

A wonderful, kind, caring friend and neighbour to my mum Doreen over many, many years.

I remember Mr Griffiths as Head Teacher of Peterlea, he was a very fair man and lead an amazing group of teachers during my time at Peterlea. My condolences to his family at this time.
