Olwyn MaeGRIGGSIt is with heavy hearts we wish to announce that Olwyn aged 84 years passed away peacefully on 21st May 2023 whilst in the wonderful care of Bradley House Care Home. A loving wife of the late Geoff, treasured mum of Hazel, Tracey, Elizabeth and Andrew, a loving mother-in-law, nan, great nan, sister, sister-in-law, auntie and great auntie. Olwyn was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held at All Saints Church, Waltham on Thursday 15th June at 11.00am followed by an interment at Waltham Cemetery. Please feel free to wear something bright and cheerful. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Olwyn can be placed in the donation box after the service (cash only) to benefit Bradley House Care Home Resident Fund. To a wonderful and much loved Nanna.
Thank you for being a constant presence in our lives and for giving us all the love you had.
I'm sorry you had to wait so long to meet Mia but I'm glad you were able to so you can tell grandad all about her. I'll make sure she knows how special her big nanna was and how much you meant to us.

To my beautiful Nan, Olwyn.
I cherish the happy times and memories we shared together.
I will always remember us dancing in the kitchen to Shirley Bassey's tunes on Sunday afternoons.
You filled my heart with happiness, no matter how big or small the occasion.
Having a Nan like you was a precious gift in my life.
Nan I want to say thank you for all that you've done for me, but most importantly thank you for being my loving, caring and wonderful Nan.
