Much loved husband of Rita, loving dad to Barrie and Nathan, adored grandad of Zoe and Ben and great grandad of Isla and George. Funeral service to take place at St. Peter's Church, East Drayton followed by private burial in St. Giles Churchyard, Darlton on a date and time to be arranged. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, will be forwarded to Alzheimer's Research UK and will be gratefully received by Funeral Directors, G.D. Hall, Newark Road, Tuxford, NG22 0NA, Telephone 01777872929

Learnt the news this evening, George made a massive impact on our family, he will be sadly missed by us all. When dad died the first person I called was George.
I will never forget the generosity of George through those last few years of Dad's life a true friend and one of the last of a special group of people.
