Rev Fr. AnthonyGRIMSHAWIt is with sadness we announce that Tony died suddenly but peacefully in hospital on August 13th 2016. Fortified by Rites of Holy Mother Church. Fr Anthony, aged 79 in his 55th year of secular priesthood, the loving son of the late Mary Isabel and Edmund George, a loved brother to John, Peter, Isabel and the late Francis RIP. A much loved uncle, great- uncle and cousin, who will be fondly remembered by his family, the parish communities he served, and many friends. On Tuesday, August 30th he will be received into St John's Cathedral, Chapel Street, Salford, M3 5LL for Evening Mass at 7.00pm, prior to Requiem Mass on Wednesday, August 31st at 12.10pm and will be laid to rest at St Mary's Cemetery, Wardley.
